Zoom Laser Tooth Whitening

in Buffalo, Amherst, Lancaster and Orchard Park, NY

By far the most popular cosmetic dental procedure is tooth whitening. Here in our Buffalo, New York office, Dr. Larry Evola and his staff use the Zoom Laser Tooth Whitening System. It is quick, easy and highly effective. You will arrive at our office for your Zoom! treatment and leave about an hour and half later with a dramatically brighter and whiter smile!

Zoom! Tooth Whitening uses a laser-activated hydrogen peroxide gel to whiten your teeth six to ten shades lighter. The treatment itself takes an hour, with an additional 20 to 30 minutes spent on getting set up beforehand, and on checking your teeth afterwards.

How does the Zoom! treatment work?

  1. Preparation - Dr. Evola will put a blocking substance on your lips, gums and other soft tissue to protect them from the whitening light. You will also be given protective eye goggles. An aligner will be put in your mouth to ensure that the light is focused on the right area of your teeth.
  2. Whitening - In three 20-minute sessions, the whitening gel will be placed on your teeth and the laser will shine on it. During that time you can listen to music or even take a catnap!
  3. Follow-up - A five-minute fluoride treatment will follow the procedure. Dr. Evola will then give you a follow-up kit to take home. You can continue whitening your teeth at your convenience. Some people find that their teeth become even whiter after these extra treatments. And you can keep the kit for touch-ups at a later date.

Zoom! is safe for your tooth enamel and provides you with immediate results.
