Porcelain veneers are among the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures with our Lancaster-area patients. And no wonder- they're strong, they're durable and they're inconspicuous.
But are they right for you? It's an important question- evaluating your candidacy for a specific procedure is one of our most important jobs. This includes porcelain veneers.
The good news is that most patients are sound candidates for dental veneers. Porcelain veneers are used to treat teet that are:
- Chipped
- Cracked
- Broken
- Permanently stained
As a result, if you have one or more of these problems, veneers likely represent a viable solution for you.
After that, we simply have to determine if your dental health will support veneers. Before we apply dental veneers, we will first evaluate the health of your teeth and gums. You cannot get veneers if you are suffering from gum disease or any other serious dental health condition. If you are, we will have to treat that first.
